Welcome to the historic Fernie Hotel & Pub. Nestled in the heart of downtown Fernie, this pub has been a fixture since it was rebuilt after the great fire of 1908. Of the 11 hotels rebuilt after the great fire it is the only one that has been run as a hotel for that entire time. True to its history, “The Fernie” still boasts clean rooms, cold beer and great home cooking!

“The Fernie” has had a complete renovation and re-opened mid December 2019! Keeping is neighbourhood feel, we’ve taken it up a notch and are now the ideal place to watch your favorite sport and have the best selection of beers on tap.

Our kitchen is open daily for lunch, dinner and appies with new dishes to keep you coming back. Catering to working class folk and tourists alike, walk in the front door and you’ll be greeted with a friendly “hello!” Relax with a cold Fernie beer and top shelf gourmet pub fare prepared with rustic home-style quality. Patio open during the summer months, children welcome until 9 pm.

Private meeting room available downstairs with catering available upon request. Reservations can be made for larger groups.

  2. Hi My son is turning 21 whilst in Canada and would like to arrange a gift voucher for him was thinking
    6 x 25 dinner vouchers 125
    6 x 4 drinks per person 120
    A cake at 50 total
He put in a lovely spot and really made to feel special with a message from his family Sunday 29th October at 6pm

I was wondering if you could advise how we can get a vouch and if the above is possible for us to do – we want to make really personal for him can you let us know

  3. We will be visiting Fernie towards the end of December. Could you tell me if you televise any of the England Premier Football (soccer) games? If you do, what time does the bar open? Thank you for your help.
