This is a very colourful painting and it’s just different when you paint in a social setting with atmosphere, food and drink and of course step by step instruction. So 40$ gets you a ticket and all supplies.

Who Dat? Live Music Saturday’s!

This band formed from repeat jam-night offenders around Fernie when a mutual love for the music of The Who was discovered between drummer Keith and guitarist/vocalist John. Nick entered the mix on bass to round out the sound and a bona fide tribute band was born. These guys nail The Who and other choice covers that fit in their wheelhouse. Plus they love to jam with other players so guaranteed to be a fun night and not to be missed by any Who fan!

Burns Night

Robbie Burns

 

The annual celebratory tribute to the life, works and spirit of the great Scottish poet, Robert Burns (1759-1796). Celebrated on, or about, the Bard’s birthday, January 25th, Burns Suppers range from formal gatherings of poets and scholars to uproariously informal rave-ups of drunkards and louts.
We at the Fernie prefer the latter and invite you in for homemade steak pie (haggis was proving very difficult to source) with a bowl of Cullen Sink (Scottish Chowder) all prepared from our very Scottish Chef Chris Vint!
The stage is open to all poets, dress code: kilts optional
